Matt Geer
Dr Matt Geer BMus (Hons) (GSMD) PhD (QUB) is a British composer, researcher, educator, and organist whose work explores time, consciousness, ritual, and systems-based musical process. His music spans concert works, choral and organ music, stage works, creative practice research, and emerging screen/documentary composition. He studied Classical Composition at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama and completed a PhD in Music Composition at Queen’s University Belfast. His work has been performed, recorded, and workshopped by artists and ensembles including the BBC Singers, EXAUDI, Line Upon Line, Carson Cooman, Heather Roche, Satoko Inoue, and musicians from the London Philharmonic Orchestra.
